Benefit Resource & Connection Hub (BRCH)
When someone needs help, it shouldn’t take months to find it. The BRCH exists to fill those urgent gaps. We offer emergency funds, tech support, and basic resources that make daily life possible.

When Basic Needs Are Met, Doors Open
The BRCH was born from listening.
Ashby Family saw a pattern: people were ready to show up for programs, connect with others, and grow. But life kept getting in the way. A late phone bill. No ride home. A dental emergency. Sometimes, all someone needed was a little help crossing the gap between where they were and where they wanted to be.
That’s what BRCH is. A responsive, human-first resource that meets people where they are and gives them what they need to keep going.
Real-Life Support, When It’s Needed Most
This isn’t theoretical help. It’s gas in the tank, clothes in the closet, lights that stay on, and food on the table. It’s the thing that allows someone to take the next step with confidence instead of fear.
The BRCH provides emergency grants to help with:
- Utility bills, phone services, or internet connections
- Rental deposits and housing-related costs
- Clothing for job interviews, outings, or personal dignity
- Emergency furniture, like a mattress or clean bedding
- Transportation to get to therapy, work, or home safely
Our focus is removing the roadblocks that keep people from participating in the very services designed to help them thrive.

A group of men gather around a pair of tables in conversation. Some are eating, while others take notes or talk, creating a space for peer-led connection and discussion.
Our Benefit Navigator Is Here to Help.
You’re not alone in this process.
Every person who connects with BRCH is supported by a Benefit Navigator—someone who knows the system, understands the roadblocks, and is committed to helping you find the resources that fit your real-life needs.
They do more than refer you. They advocate alongside you.
Whether it’s applying for food assistance, navigating housing paperwork, or finding help with medical bills, the Benefit Navigator is here to bridge the gap between systems and people.

Support for the Things That Make You Feel Alive
Healing isn’t always clinical. Sometimes, it’s a yoga class. A community garden. A chance to care for a horse or dance with others.
The BRCH offers small scholarships to make these enrichment opportunities possible. These aren’t luxuries. They’re lifelines to mental health, joy, and connection.
Some examples include:
- Exercise or movement classes
- Art workshops or creative sessions
- Culturally meaningful community events
We support whatever helps someone feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected.

Access to Technology Means Access to Life
Many of our clients are missing opportunities not for lack of interest, but for lack of tools.
Telehealth appointments. Online support groups. Job interviews. Even ordering groceries. So much of modern life requires a phone, a laptop, or a basic understanding of how to use them. The BRCH closes this gap. We provide:
- Basic tech access (tablets, phones, internet hotspots)
- Training for virtual appointments and services
- Support to navigate telehealth, recovery groups, and more
Digital equity isn’t optional. And we’re here to make sure no one is left behind.
Apply When You Need It. No Shame, No Barriers.
