What are Ashby Family’s Respite Services?
This program is designed to give caregivers a meaningful pause while ensuring their loved one remains safe, supported, and genuinely engaged. Respite Services take place in our welcoming Activity Center, where participants are cared for by compassionate staff in a space built for comfort, connection, and inclusion.
We work with Clark County and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to provide these services. The purpose is simple: to offer dependable care that supports family wellbeing and participant quality of life.
Caregiver Relief
Respite Services allow caregivers the time they need to rest, recharge, or attend to personal responsibilities, without worry. Whether it’s a few hours or a longer break, you can step away knowing your loved one is in capable, caring hands.
Safe, Supportive, and Engaging Care
While in our Activity Center, participants enjoy a structured yet relaxed environment with activities designed to be enjoyable and meaningful. This may include creative projects, social interaction, light movement, or wellness-focused activities—all guided by staff who prioritize dignity, comfort, and choice.
