LEAD Mentorship
The LEAD & Mentorship Program is a pathway to growth, belonging, and personal discovery for participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Each cohort is guided through a culturally inclusive curriculum designed to build life skills, foster peer connections, and expand access to community opportunities.
What the program offers:
Culturally Inclusive Learning
Topics include the Cultural & Social Identity Wheel, health and wellness, time management, financial education, career exploration, and educational pathways.
Peer Mentorship
Nine individuals with IDD serve as trained mentors, offering lived experience, guidance, and encouragement.
Accessible Transportation
A wheelchair-accessible Honda Odyssey helps participants reach classes, activities, and community spaces without barriers.
Dignity, Respect, & Understanding Trainings
All staff and mentors complete quarterly dignity, respect, and understanding training to ensure an inclusive and respectful environment for all.

Community Engagement & Inclusion Services
Through Washington State’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), our Community Engagement and Community Inclusion services are designed to help individuals step into community life with confidence, connection, and purpose.
What the program offers:
Eligibility for DDA Clients
Available to individuals on the Individual and Family Services, Basic Plus, and Core waivers, as well as those in Skilled Nursing Facilities or on the Roads to Community Living program.
Relationship Building
At the heart of this service is fostering authentic bonds, mutual respect, and active participation in the broader community.
Access to Community Life
Support in finding and joining activities, events, and social networks that match each person’s interests.
Flexible, Individualized Support
Services shaped around the participant’s preferences, needs, and pace, whether for a single milestone or ongoing connection.
Short-Term & Long-Term Options
Community Engagement helps with immediate needs such as apartment hunting or accessing local resources, while Community Inclusion builds enduring relationships and community roles.

Benefit Resource & Connection Hub (BRCH)
The BRCH is a lifeline for individuals facing urgent needs, offering connections to vital resources, emergency assistance, and ongoing community support. Through its Benefit Navigator, the hub guides participants toward local programs, service organizations, and funding opportunities that can make an immediate difference in daily life.

Emergency Financial Assistance
Grants for critical needs such as beds, clothing, food, or urgent repairs, ensuring support when it’s needed most.
Community Engagement Scholarships
Funding for personal enrichment activities, including exercise programs, wellness initiatives, and equine-assisted therapy.
Essential Supplies
Access to everyday necessities such as sanitary products and adult diapers, helping individuals maintain dignity and comfort.
Digital Access and Training
Technology resources and training to bridge the digital divide, making telehealth, virtual counseling, and online recovery meetings accessible to all.
Respite Services
Our Respite Services offer caregivers a much-needed pause while ensuring their loved ones remain safe, supported, and meaningfully engaged. Hosted in our welcoming Activity Center, these services create peace of mind for families and enriching experiences for participants.

Scheduled breaks that allow caregivers time to rest, recharge, and tend to personal needs without worry.
Safe and Supportive Environment
Participants are cared for by compassionate staff in a space designed for comfort, connection, and inclusion.
